Default Greetings from SC

Hi my name is Matt. I'm a teenager and I live in South Carolina. I absolutely love to duck hunt and turkey hunt, though I also enjoy deer hunting and fishing. I'm fairly new to the forum but I know quite a bit about Mr. Milner because my grandfather and I have trained several golden retrievers by reading his books. I recently had the chance to reserve a red female pup from the Boomer/Bella litter (whelped 12/31/09) during a visit to Somerville. I'm looking forward to training my new retriever and spending time with her. Thanks a bunch for being so welcoming on this forum.
Thanks - and Happy Hunting!

Matt,

Wecome! I hope you get the dog of a lifetime!!! I'm sure your pup will be all that you hope it will be (and probably much more). Good Luck with the training! I hope to hear all about your experiences.

Swack

Matt,
Welcome to the forum, and good luck with your pup. I have one out of Bommer-Charlie and one out of Bommer-Georgia. Pleased with both "Duckhill Gundogs".

Default Matt

I've got a Otter and Susie pup Oct 5, litter. Great dog so for. Your going to enjoy training the new pup with Roberts new book. Takes some of the old kinks out of the old training book and gives a better idea of training. Watch on this sight some of the British dog hunt video's. Dogs sitting on some hunts by there self's no leash as birds are falling, very intelligent looking dogs. Your getting ready to get one of these great dogs...... Enjoy.
