Swack, All,

Thanks for the inputs! I'd have felt bad if anyone had gone on and on about how great brand "A" was, while I was leaning toward brand "B". I wasn't going to wait much longer before making a purchase, , , and the boots cost less than two bags of dog food. So, the decision didn't require as much study as healthcare reform.

Thanks Guys!

Chuck

Default muck boots

Hello,

I have tried a lot of boots. I also am in retail for a big sporting goods store. I have found that Muck Boots mold to my feet better. Hlope this helps.

Chuck,

Did you press the "Complete Sale" button really! Oh well, I'm returning a jacket from Cabela's to exchange it for one I hope I like better! You can always change your mind!

Just thought I'd give you something to think about. Not worth losing sleep over. Unless your new boots leak!

Swack,

I pressed the Complete Sale button Sunday. The LaCrosse Burly Trac-Lite 800Gs arrived Tuesday at dinner time. By mid evening they had been worn enough they could not be returned in "as new" condition. I really like them! With one pair of thick wool socks the boots fit perfectly. Only way I'd return them now is if they started leaking within the next year. I don't think that's likely.

The The Mucky, Moldies (couldn't resist) may be a better boot. But, in my opinion LaCrosse has them beat by a mile in the Internet sales department. The LaCrosse site lists boot height, cost, and an "add to shoping cart" button. I saw none of these things on the Muck site.

Thanks guys for the recommendations! The Mucks may be great but, LaCrosse has them on salesmanship.

Thanks Guys!

Now with warm dry jeans,
Chuck De
