    Default Worth a Look

Robert posted this on the RetrieverTraining.Net Forum. Either he's not sharing the good stuff with us or I missed it.

Is that not the most impressive example of "steady" and "honor" you've ever witnessed? I've watched this clip over a dozen times and it still amazes me. THIS is what I'm striving for in a retriever.

We just need to live 5 hours closer to each other as I need someone to train with that has the same goals and can help. (41/2 to Carbondale, made that trip many times as I have two kids who are Saluki's)

Is either one of your kids still at SIU?

    Guys,

That is an impressive video and is great theater, but as a chap who does a bit of rough shooting I'd like to know this: who was doing the flushing?

    20 Fan,

No, my youngest son graduated 2 years ago and just finished grad school at Mizzou. My daughter was there during his first year while at Med School an then was at Springfield IL (SIU Med School) for the last three years. She in Phoenix now in her last year of residency. She'll ge heading next June to St' Jude's in Menphis, not that far from Duck Hill.

I'm still looking forward to meeting you guys sometime, just seems like the timing been wrong.

If Swack was pushing those birds I got a feeling not all of them would have made it down the hill.

    Chris,

Yes, I'm planning on it. I went to the one in May, but was out of town for the Hunt Test in June. It's only 30 minuties from home and let's touch based before hand and exchange phone numbers.
